- Vyzvěte předem seniory, aby si s sebou přinesli nějaké menší předměty, které v minulosti používali v jejich každodenním životě, ale dnes už se tolik nepoužívají. Pokud to není možné, pokusí se lektor zajistit sám. Tyto předměty se umístí do truhly nebo krabice či koše. Můžete si společně truhlu vyzdobit tak, aby se podobala truhle s pokladem.
- Skupina sedí v kruhu na židlích. Doprostřed kruhu se postaví truhla s "pokladem".
- Děti jedno po druhém vybírají předměty z truhly a zkusí hádat, k čemu se používají.
- Senioři děti doplňují a vždy vysvětlí, co je to za předmět a jak se v minulosti využíval.
- Alternativa: výměna rolí - použijte moderní objekt, který může být seniorům neznámý a senioři jsou ti, kteří hádají funkci každého objektu. Děti následně vysvětlují nač a jak lze objekt využít.
