- Starejše ženske so v svoji mladosti iz različnih cvetlic rade spletale venčke in številne še danes to ročno spretnost zelo dobro obvladajo. Ta znanja lahko podelijo z mlajšimi udeleženci, zlasti s puncami, ki se rade igrajo z rožami in spletajo lepe venčke.
- Starejši udeleženci, otroci in mentor se skupaj odpravijo na bližnji travnik po cvetlice. Seboj vzamejo pleteno košaro, kamor bodo cvetlice polagali.
- Nabirajte marjetice, regratove cvetove in podobne rože z dolgimi upogljivimi stebli. Ko rože trgate, bodite pozorni, da je stebel res karseda dolg.
- Ko se vrnete iz sprehoda, po tleh ali na mizo razporedite nabrane cvetlice in jih pripravite za pletenje.
